Lou started his stand up career in 1999 after the Shakespearean directors at his theatre company had had enough of him. Lou’s angry comedy has earned him headline slots at the award winning XS Malarkey, and paid weekends at the Frog and Bucket. He has also performed at The Wardrobe (Leeds), Rawhide (Liverpool), The Glee Club (Birmingham), The Gilded Balloon (Edinburgh) and The Last Laugh (Sheffield). Lou was a semi finalist in both the So You Think You're Funny and Daily Telegraph competitions.
